So school has started. Alex going into 1st and Sydney starting preschool. Both are happy to be gone and honestly, I'm happy to have them out for awhile. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MY KIDS, but it doesn't mean we have to be together all the time.
the other day while at school Alex was "laughing so hard at a joke that I fell over" and cracked his head open. Our house phone wasn't working at the time, Aaron's cell was off because he was in clinic, and my cell was inside charging while I was outside painting. Alex sat in the office the last hour of school waiting for someone to pick him up. Luckily the bleeding had stopped by the time I got there. Probably not winning any parenting awards in the near future.
So glad you guys have a blog! Hope everything is going well.

That's Ok - when we lived in Germany I slipped at school and broke my arm. My mom had to finish her shopping at the Commissary before she could come pick me up. :)
ReplyDeletePretty funny. I am glad to see pics of you and your family. We wish we would have made it out this summer but it wasn't in the cards. Hopefully next year.
ReplyDeleteHey! It's Jessie. I'm glad you started a blog! I love being able to keep in touch with people. Ours is www.turbojesta.blogspot.com. There are a few people from Spokane linked on there if you want to find more people you know. I guess they call that blog stalking but it's fun anyways. I'm glad to see you guys are doing well!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so DANG cute. I love em. Love the story about falling off his chair. That apple didn't fall far. :-)
ReplyDeletePretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove the top picture of South Dakota.
Don't feel too bad about not joining the blogging world. I wouldn't so Amanda finally said that she was going to do one for our family and guess what? She does. She picks the photo's and writes all the comments and she is doing a great job.
ReplyDeleteSydney's pre-school picture is really cute and I love how excited Alex looks heading off to a full day of school.
Can't wait to see some new pictures of the painted house.
Love you,
Cathie

Maybe Alex should get a giant bubble this Christmas he can play in?
ReplyDeleteReminds me that having a cellphone is not all it is worth - I leave mine deep in my purse and then I never hear it either! Oh well! Glad you have a blog - I will link up!

ReplyDeleteYour kids have gotten so big and they are as darling as ever, really funny about being the neglectful parents, I am glad Alex is okay, I will have to warn my kids about the danger of too much laughter :)
